Visco Technology

In the early 1960s, NCFI and founder Ace Bradley worked closely with NASA and another North Carolina based company Dynamic Systems to develop a slow recovery polyurethane foam to provide pressure relief in the seats being designed for our astronauts. In 1968, NCFI sold that formulation to Dynamic Systems and they continued the development with NASA. That formulation can be called the starting point for today’s memory foams. We have stayed true to our roots, and with developments over the years we still produce enhanced versions of the originally designed formula. Today we produce our visco’s in varying densities, and infusions. Regardless of the precise formula, our viscos perform perfectly in roll pack environments.
